Variety Attribution: Obverse-Stars are small and sharp. Star 8 is 1/2 mm. from cap. Date 7 mm. and 83 is closer than 18 or 35. Knob of 5 is partially flat and a vertical line connects same to upright. Upper lip is thick and has a sharp unnatural curl. Mouth slightly open.

Reverse- 50 C. is 1 3/4 mm. and well centered. The small 5 has a broad curved and recut top, is higher than 0 and tipped more sharply to left. Arrow to A is 3/4 mm. Left sides of T and right side of I are in line. A small center dot between crossbars 4 and 5. Line 3 of stripe 5 to crossbar 2 Upper right serif of I in PLURIBUS is missing. This is reverse U carried over from 1834 (O-121).
