1836 O-103 R4- Capped Bust Half Dollar

Variety Attribution: Obverse-Stars 7,8,11 and 13 show recutting. Date is 7 1/2 mm. and a shade low. The small 3 is lower than 8 or 6, tipped more to the left and nearly closed at top. 6 is larger and higher than 183. The stand of 1  extends clearly below the base.

Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/4 mm. and high. The 5 is slender, well formed, has a curved top, and is a shade lower than 0 which is unusual.  Arrow to A is 1 mm. Crossbars 2 and 3 extend well into left wing. I is centered under left side of T. Little or no milling. Die lump between stripes 2 and 3 about 2 mm. below tops.
