1807 O-104 R5- Draped Bust Half Dollar

O-104 R5- is below, the O-104a was added 4th edition, but there are no known auction appearanced (pics needed). There is an MS64 floatiing around out there as finest, but there are very few above XF40.

Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 1 is 1 1/2 mm. from curl and star 13 only 1/4 mm. from bust. The small rough defect lumps near milling between stars 2 and 3 are diagnostic. Date is 7 1/2 mm. and high, with 7 higher than 180 and 1 nearly touching curl.

Reverse-5 berries and all have stems but upper berry below has longest stem. Beak attached to upper side of star point, and this star is clear of scroll. Bases of AME separated and A2 is close but does not touch third feather and is well above end of fourth feather. Point of leaf below right half of base of I. A small sharp die defect lump just left of the top of first S in STATES is visible on most specimens.
