1808 O-103 R1 Capped Bust Half Dollar

A tough marriage in MS grades with a crazy nice MS67 leading the way, but there are quite a few AU examples that can be had as they are much more available.

PCGS Graded AU50. Smokey gray toning with rainbow colors in the periphery. Enough luster to make the grade. As you can see below, a decent looking coin.

Variety Attribution: Obverse-Date is 8 3/4 mm., well centered and slants to left. 08 slightly closer than 180. Stars are large and well formed. left base of 1 missing.

Reverse- 50 C. is 2 1/2 mm. and low. Arrow to A is 1 mm. Left claw of left talon split. AM solid at base. Two lower arrowheads joined. Fine die cracks usually visible around legend. I centered under right side of T.
