1826 O-105 R3 Capped Bust Half Dollar

Only slightly less common, specimens may be had in all grades through MS65.
NGC Graded AU53. Some serious crust present on this, another Barn Find, example. Luster very subdued but very little wear.
Variety Attribution: Obverse-Star 13 is 1/2 mm. from curl. Date is 8 1/4mm, tall and close, plain 2 with needle like point. A die crack near end of bust joins all stars on left.
Reverse- 50 C. is 1 1/2 mm. Arrow to A is 3/4 mm. Tall letters in UNITED are attached to edge. Left sides T-I in line. Line 1 of stripe 2 and line 3 of stripe 5 penetrate to the fourth crossbar, several other lines to crossbar 4, etc.
